At Smith Brothers Restaurants, we believe a memorable meal deserves an equally memorable ending. That's why, in 1984, we created L.A. Bake Shop—our own in-house bakery dedicated to crafting exceptional breads and desserts.
Over the years, L.A. Bake Shop has created many of the desserts our guests have come to know and love, including the legendary Carrot Cake once served at Crocodile Café, and current favorites like our Crème Brûlée Napoleon, Grand Marnier Soufflé, and the seasonal Strawberry Shortcake.
Today, L.A. Bake Shop operates from its home inside Arroyo Chop House, where our pastry team continues to bake breads and desserts enjoyed at Parkway Grill, Arroyo Chop House, and Smitty's Grill. The bakery operates with the same goal it started with 40 years ago: creating the finest, fresh, baked goods for our guests.
It's one more way we continue our commitment to quality—from the first course to the last bite.
